MTR passengers face continued disruption on the East Rail Line on Thursday, as the rail operator continues to clean up after Monday's derailment near Hung Hom Station.
Services will be similar to those offered on Wednesday, with trains every seven minutes between Hung Hom Station and Lo Wu, while services between Mong Kok East and Lo Wu will operate every three and a half minutes.
Passengers for Lok Ma Chau will have to change trains at Tai Po Market, from where services will operate every 12 minutes.
Only one East Rail platform is open at Hung Hom. Investigations are continuing into the cause of Monday's incident, with early investigations suggesting that there was no foreign object on the track, and that cracks in the rail may have been the result, rather than the cause, of the problem.
