More Than 1,260 Covid Cases Found In Lockdowns

Health authorities on Tuesday identified 1,261 Covid cases in the overnight lockdowns of seven public housing blocks in Tuen Mun, Sham Shui Po and Kwun Tong and Wong Tai Sin.
281 residents of Tip Mo House at Butterfly Estate tested preliminarily positive for Covid.
50 infections were detected at Gladiolus House of So Uk Estate, while 48 people from Fu Leung House of Fu Cheong Estate in Sham Shui Po came down with the virus.
In Kwun Tong, Tin Kam House and Tin Chi House of Shun Tin Estate logged 220 and 241 cases respectively, while 168 infections were picked up at Lee Fu House of Shun Lee Estate.
Another 253 cases were identified at Wing Yuen House of Chuk Yuen (South) Estate in Wong Tai Sin.
The buildings were sealed off for testing on Monday after the virus was found in sewage samples there.
