Police are investigating an attempted rape in Kowloon Bay. They say a woman made a report saying a man had threatened her with a key and asked her to hand over her belongings at about 9 pm on Sunday. After she handed over her bank card and password, she said he tried to rape her but failed and fled.

The woman said she yelled out but then later left the scene by public transport.

Police say they are looking for a man aged 45 to 50, of thin build and between 1.65 and 1.7 metres tall. He is fluent in Cantonese and was wearing a white cap, a mask, shorts and a dark shirt.
