The police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Yuen Long on Wednesday afternoon in which a 50-year-old man died.

Shortly after 5 pm, the man was riding his motorcycle along Long Tin Road towards the Yuen Long Highway.

As he approached Wang Tat Road, he reportedly lost control of his bike and crashed into the railings.

He was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital with serious head injuries, where he was certified dead about an hour later.
