Man Appears In Court Over Admiralty Mall Attack

A 23-year-old man who faces a charge of attempted murder appeared in Eastern Court on Saturday for Wednesday's attack on an elderly man at Pacific Place Mall in Admiralty.
The defendant, who is a delivery man, has been accused of severely injuring the victim by kicking his head.
Prosecutors said the two had never met, adding police found that the suspect had appointments with a psychiatric clinic at Queen Mary Hospital.
The magistrate adjourned the case to March 25, pending psychiatric reports.
In the meantime, the suspect will be sent to Siu Lam Psychiatric Centre.
