A team of medical experts from the mainland inspected a quarantine hotel in Wan Chai on Monday as they continued their visit to Hong Kong to learn more about the city's anti-epidemic work.

Accompanied by health officials, they were briefed about the quarantine arrangements at Dorsett Wanchai for travellers arriving from overseas.

The delegation then inspected a coronavirus testing centre in Yau Ma Tei.

They logged their visit using the government's LeaveHomeSafe app.

The experts were expected to visit the Kwai Tsing Container Terminal and Tin Shui Wai Hospital on Monday afternoon.

The government says the mainland experts' visit is important to prepare for the resumption of quarantine-free cross-border travel.
