The government on Tuesday locked down a public housing block in Ma On Shan after finding suspected Covid patients there and the virus in sewage samples taken from the building.
Residents and recent visitors of Heng Fung House at Heng On Estate must get tested and stay at home.
The lockdown excludes a church, a study centre and a women's club of the Family Planning Association on the ground floor of the block.
Officials said they were hoping to complete the lockdown operation by around 1pm on Wednesday.
