A meeting of Legco's Home Affairs Panel was adjourned on Monday because not enough lawmakers were present.

Members were supposed to discuss upgrading sports facilities and encouraging the development of athletics in the city.

But the meeting was adjourned after only seven lawmakers turned up, one short of a quorum.

There were four pan-democrats and three pro-establishment lawmakers present.

There are a total of 24 members on the Home Affairs Panel, 14 pro-government and 10 from the pro-democracy camp.
