The Education Bureau has suspended kindergartens and schools for disabled children today, as the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 3 is in effect.

If the signal is lowered before 10.30am, classes of afternoon kindergartens will resume.

At 6am, Tropical Storm Ewiniar was around 200 kilometres west of Hong Kong and moving slowly on a northerly track towards inland Guangdong.

Due to the weather, the Discovery Bay to Mui Wo ferry service has been suspended.

The Observatory said said the unsettled weather is expected to continue into Saturday, but the sky should be clear by the latter part of Sunday.
