Officials on Wednesday reported one new imported Covid-19 case in Hong Kong, involving a woman who flew in from the United Arab Emirates.
Health officials said they were also investigating a case across the border, involving a 51-year-old man who tested positive for the coronavirus in Guangdong on Sunday.
The man was said to have travelled from Hong Kong to Shenzhen earlier this month with a 19-year-old woman who was confirmed to have the virus last Friday.
The SAR has recorded a total of 11,837 infections so far, but there have only been 24 new cases in the two weeks, the majority of them linked to overseas travel.
