The ICAC says 21 people, including two assistant trainers and four Hong Kong Jockey Club stable staff, have been arrested for suspected corruption. The charges are connected to the alleged provision of privileged information to illegal bookmakers and race fixing.
In an operation codenamed "Iron Triangle", officers raided a residential premises in Tsuen Wan on Saturday, where a suspected illegal bookmaking operation was taking place.
The ICAC said that, while enquiries were continuing, no further comment would be made.
