Hong Kong Sees 14 New Covid Cases

Hong Kong recorded 14 new local coronavirus cases on Wednesday, eight of which could not be traced.
They include a 23-year-old woman who works in marketing, a 53-year-old dishwasher, a 34-year-old man who manages elderly care homes but worked from home, a photocopier salesperson, two housewives, a retiree and a 53-year-old secretary.
The latest cases bring the territory's pandemic toll to 11,046.
The Centre for Health Protection called on members of the public to remain vigilant, saying the local Covid-19 situation remains severe.
It said of the 197 local cases reported in the past 14 days, more than one-third, or 69 of them, were from unknown sources.
