Health officials on Wednesday reported three imported coronavirus cases, all of them infected with the L452R mutant strain.

The Centre for Health Protection said one of the patients – a 39-year-old woman from Turkey – had received one dose of the BioTech vaccine earlier, while a 27-year-old man from the United States had received two doses.

They showed no symptoms.

The third patient was a 31-year-old sailor.

There were also about five preliminary positive cases.
