Health officials on Wednesday reported one new imported Covid-19 case.

The 27-year-old woman flew in from Bangladesh, and authorities said she did not display any symptoms.

There were no new local cases for the day.

The Centre for Health Protection asked the public to avoid unnecessary travel, noting many recent imported cases have joined “non-essential travel” after they were vaccinated.

In total, the city has recorded 12,020 confirmed cases.
