Health authorities on Monday reported five newly confirmed imported cases of Covid-19.
The five male patients, aged between 29 and 59, were all asymptomatic and flew in from the Philippines, Ghana, Nigeria and Britain via Finland.
Four had been inoculated with two doses of coronavirus vaccine, while the man from Nigeria had received only one jab.
Officials also said they had banned all Qatar Airways flights from Doha from landing in Hong Kong until the end of this month, after four passengers arriving on two of the airline's flights tested positive for the virus.
