Rallies have been taking place in several cities around the world this weekend in support of Hong Kong's anti-extradition protests.
In London's Trafalgar Square, a large crowd gathered on Saturday to urge the British government to support Hong Kong protesters' demands and fulfil the former colonial power's moral duties to the SAR.
Some of the protesters also marched to Downing Street and to Parliament.
In Taiwan on Saturday, around 100 demonstrators held a flash mob sit-in at Taipei 101, protesting against what they described as excessive use of force by the Hong Kong police.
Rallies have also taken place in European cities including Paris and Berlin, where several hundred pro-Hong Kong demonstrators gathered outside the Brandenburg Gate. A small group of pro-Beijing demonstrators opposed them.
In the Australian cities of Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, large crowds of demonstrators carrying national flags and singing the anthem have drowned out pro-Hong Kong protests. Victoria Police said they interviewed two people on suspicion of assault in relation to the Melbourne protests.
Further pro-Hong Kong rallies were scheduled for major cities in the United States later on Saturday local time.
