Anti-extradition bill activists have unfurled a giant pro-democracy banner inside the Landmark shopping mall, the latest luxury shopping centre to witness this stunt.
The banner that reads "liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time" was displayed in the atrium of the luxury shopping mall in Central.
Similar banners had made similar appearances before lunch time crowds in other shopping malls earlier this month, including Pacific Place and a mall in Lok Fu as well as Times Square in Causeway Bay.
More than 100 onlookers were there at Landmark checking out the banner on Friday, but not all of them responded to a group of people who started chanting anti-extradition slogans. Some of the people also belted out the song 'Glory to Hong Kong' which has become the anthem of the ongoing protests.
A Spanish tourist, Sebastian Verhaegen, who witnessed the activities, said he found them fascinating. "It is a very peaceful way to demonstrate.. I don't see anything negative," he said.
