Police have charged four people with rioting over the prolonged clashes at Chinese University last November.
Anti-government protesters were for hours locked in an intense battle with riot officers at a footbridge over the Tolo Highway that links the university campus in Sha Tin to the Science Park.
Multiple rounds of tear gas were fired by the police, while protesters put up barricades and set fire to various objects, including a car, in an attempt to hold back the riot officers.
Police said on Tuesday that four of the five young people they arrested during the clashes have now been charged with rioting.
They were due to appear before Sha Tin Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Of those arrested at the scene, one man and one woman were also charged with unlawful assembly and breaching a ban on face masks. An 18-year-old man was also charged with illegally wearing a mask and possession of an offensive weapon.
