A platform for dialogue, established to end months of anti-government protests, will be led by former permanent secretary for Innovation and Technology, Cheuk Wing-hing.

In an email to all civil servants, the Policy Innovation and Co-ordination Office said the Office for Dialogue was set up on Monday. But it gave few details.

The Chief Executive Carrie Lam has vowed to create a platform in order to find a solution to the civil unrest sweeping the city over the soon-to-be-withdrawn extradition bill.
