Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan on Sunday night in which a 66-year-old man died.

They said that at about 10.30 pm, a public light bus driven by the 66-year-old man was travelling along Lung Yuet Road westbound, but reportedly lost control near Chak On Estate, and rammed into the kerb and railings.

The driver sustained multiple injuries, and was sent to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 12.13am.

Police are investigating the accident.
