A 21-year-old man, who was formerly employed as a part-time journalist at RTHK, has been charged with possessing imitation firearms and a walkie-talkie without a licence.

The man, who was working for RTHK at the time, was arrested at the Ocean Park MTR station on April 15, when an open day was being held at the police college in Wong Chuk Hang as part of National Security Education Day.

He was accused of carrying two imitation guns and a walkie-talkie.

He will appear at the Eastern Court on Wednesday.
