The police have arrested a 27-year-old driver of a private car following an accident on Tai Po Road in Cheung Sha Wan on Thursday, in which a 26-year-old man was killed while apparently crossing the road.

The incident happened at about 10 pm on the approach Kowloon Reservoir. The man suffered serious injuries and was unconscious when sent to hospital. He was declared dead in the early hours of this morning.

A 22 year-old female passenger was injured. The male driver is being investigated on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
