Health officials have reported more than 80 new coronavirus cases for the third day in a row, with 59 of the cases belonging to the dance cluster.
Among the latest patients in the cluster are a 77-year-old doctor who works part-time in Fu Shan Estate near Diamond Hill and a To Kwa Wan elderly care home worker.
The total number of patients in the cluster now stands at 311.
Dr Chuang Shuk-kwan from the Centre for Health Protection said they've also identified seven more premises that had been visited by the patients in the cluster, and those who have visited them are urged to get tested soon.
The venues are Lucky Dragon Restaurant in Shek Kip Mei, Lucky Dragon Palace Restaurant in Choi Hung, Bandstage Live Music in Wong Tai Sin, A&B Dance Studio in Causeway Bay, Rendez Vous Arts on Prince Edward Road West, and Philip Wain beauty and fitness centres in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay.
Health officials are still tracing the sources of 13 other cases, including a student of Fukien Secondary School in Siu Sai Wan. The school is advised to suspend classes and have its students tested.
A 25-year-old customs officer going through training in Tai Lam and a nurse working at Gleneagles Hospital also caught the virus via unknown sources.
A total of 81 cases were reported on Thursday, six of them imported ones. There were also more than 60 preliminary positive cases.
Meanwhile, the Hospital Authority's Dr Linda Yu says they have taken steps to prevent a vendor from sending erroneous results to people who tested for Covid-19.
Six people who tested positive were wrongly told the results were negative, but Yu said "there was no delay" in arranging care for the patients.
"We are very concerned about the incident... we have requested the vendor to review the system and fix the error to prevent similar incident from occurring."
