Compulsory Tests Ordered For 72 Locations

The government on Saturday issued compulsory testing notices for

72 places

across Hong Kong.

Anyone who has visited any of these premises and stayed there for the length of time and on the dates specified must get a nucleic acid test for Covid-19.

The residential buildings listed are located in Kwun Tong, Mong Kok, Sai Ying Pun, Tin Shui Wai, Wong Tai Sin, Tsuen Wan, Tseung Kwan O, Tuen Mun, Sai Wan Ho, Quarry Bay, Ma On Shan, Cheung Sha Wan, Shau Kei Wan, Yuen Long, Tai Po, To Kwa Wan, Sau Mau Ping, Sha Tin, Tsing Yi, North Point, Tai Kok Tsui, Hung Hom, Fanling, Yuen Long, Chai Wan, Ap Lei Chau, Lam Tin, Tsz Sha Wan, Lai Chi Kok, Aberdeen, Ngau Tau Kok and Tai Wai.

Tests have also been ordered for people who had been to various locations in North Point: Golden King Restaurant in the Tung Po Building; Customs Headquarters Staff Canteen; Lok Tak Restaurant in Java Road and Jeju Belogi in Harbour North.

Testing ordered were also issued for other premises: Times Cafe in One Madison, Cheung Sha Wan; Yat Yat Place in The Whampoa, Hung Hom; the ground floor at 185-187 Wuhu Street, also in Hung Hom; Man Ho Chinese Restaurant at the SkyCity Marriott in Chek Lap Kok; SkyBird 2 Staff Canteen at Hong Kong International Airport; ground floor premises at 20 Ma Wan New Village in Tung Chung; Cafe de Coral at Wu Sang House in Mong Kok and AROI Thai in Temple Mall North, Wong Tai Sin.

The Centre for Health Protection on Saturday reported 2,995 new Covid cases. All but 204 were local infections.
