The government on Saturday cordoned off Ching Cheung House, on Cheung Lung Wai Estate, in Sheung Shui for compulsory Covid testing.

Health officials made the order after discovering that sewage samples from the block contained the coronavirus.

Residents have been told to stay home, except when taking a test.

Authorities say they hope to complete the testing exercise by around noon on Sunday.
