A chartered flight bringing stranded Hong Kong residents back from India arrived shortly after 6.30 on Monday morning.
The flight left New Dehli on Sunday night at around 11 pm, with 249 people on board, including seven children under the age of two.
The passengers were taken to AsiaWorld-Expo for compulsory Covid-19 testing, after which they were due to be transferred to the quarantine centre at Chun Yeung Estate in Fo Tan, to complete their 14-day compulsory quarantine.
The returnees had to pay for the flight themselves, at a cost of HK$3,800.
