The League of Social Democrats says it has elected Chan Po-ying as its new chairwoman.
Chan is the wife of jailed activist Leung Kwok-hung, who's better known as "Long Hair".
The party announced in a social media post that it held a special meeting on Sunday to elect a new executive committee as most of its core members had been jailed over different cases.
Her predecessor, Raphael Wong, said he expected he could be sent to prison as well and so he decided to hand over leadership for the party's continued operations.
