  • Buses collide on Tsing Ma Bridge, at least 10 hurt

More than a dozen people have been injured after a collision involving five buses on Tsing Ma Bridge.

The accident happened at around 4pm on Sunday, when four airport buses and one Park Island bus collided on an airport-bound lane of the bridge.

The injured were treated at the scene.

The Transport Department said some of the upper lanes of the bridge had to be closed, and drivers could use the lower lanes to get to the airport.

At about 6pm, the department said two of the upper lanes towards the airport were still shut off to traffic, and appealed to people travelling to Tung Chung or the airport to instead use the MTR.
