Almost 290 Covid Infections Found In Lockdowns

Authorities on Tuesday picked up 288 Covid-19 infections after locking down several residential blocks for overnight testing.
96 cases were detected from Choi Lai House of Choi Yuen Estate in Sheung Shui.
At Shing Yat House of Kwai Shing East Estate, 44 residents tested preliminary positive.
In Kwun Tong, 24 cases were reported from Kin On House, Hing On House and Fu On House of Wo Lok Estate, while 124 infections were picked up at Sin Tat House of On Tat Estate.
There were also dozens of indeterminate cases.
Separately, the government has locked down several other residential blocks for testing after sewage samples there tested positive for the virus.
Officials said the operations at Lai Chak House of Chak On Estate in Sham Shui Po, Pak Shue House of Lei Muk Shue (II) Estate at Tsuen Wan, Tsui Mei House of Tsui Ping (North) Estate in Kwun Tong, and Tan Fung House at Choi Hung Estate will wrap up sometime between noon and 1pm on Wednesday.
