All lanes of the Tolo Highway - a key road connecting the New Territories with Kowloon - were reopened on Saturday.

The highway had been blocked after protesters set up barricades and threw debris onto it from an overhead bridge near the Chinese University campus.

The protesters retreated on Friday night and none could be seen there by Saturday morning.

Authorities finished clearing the barricades and debris from the highway late on Saturday morning - and by around noon all lanes had been reopened to traffic.
