Three police officers, posted to the Airport Police District, have tested preliminary positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, the force said the sergeant and two constables felt unwell on Monday and went for treatment.

The three men, aged between 28 and 41, have no travel history and wore masks on duty.

Police say they are highly concerned and that the areas they were working in have been sterilised. Their close contacts will be sent into quarantine.
