Activists Appear In Court Over June 4 Vigil Case

Thirteen pro-democracy activists have made their first court appearances over allegations they incited people to take part in an unauthorised June 4 candlelight vigil at Victoria Park.
The defendants include lawmaker Andrew Wan, former legislators Lee Cheuk-yan and Albert Ho, media tycoon Jimmy Lai and barrister Chow Hang-tung.
The group appeared at West Kowloon Magistrates Court on Monday.
No plea was taken and the case has been adjourned to September 15 pending further police investigations.
